12u Bombers October Update

This fall the 12 & under AAU Bombers baseball team moved up to the highest level of competition with AAU, the Platinum level. So far this season, the 12u team has participated in two tournaments. Sunshine Sports held its First Pitch tournament in Clearwater the first weekend in September. The Bombers finished in second place, losing the championship game to the current national champion Juice team out of Orlando. The weekend of September 18-20, the Bombers played in the September Shootout tournament held in Lakewood Ranch. The Bombers placed third in this tournament.

The current Bombers roster is made up of Chase Bardes, Parker Bryant, Richard Costi, Scott Files, Chris Labrie, Andy Ly, Tyler Ramsay, Parker Rhoads, Tyler Sankel, David Sockol, Garrett Sullivan and Connor Wolfe. Current batting leaders on the team are Garrett Sullivan who is hitting .667, Chase Bardes who is hitting .579, David Sockol who is hitting .566 and Scott Files at .533. Garrett Sullivan is also leading the team with an On Base Percentage of .706.

Upcoming games for the Bombers include a home game Oct 11th vs Seminole Baseball, Oct 18th away games against the Juice and Orlando Heat, Oct 25th home vs Red Rage, and Oct 31st away against Tampa Red Raiders and the Tampa Venum. All home games are played at Tierra Verde.
